Starting from 2016, BudapestArtWeek is a new program series aimed to give a new drive and direction for fine art lovers, supplementing the Budapest Spring Festival’s classic arts program series. It provides a unique opportunity to serve as an orientation point for plenty of fine arts events. The festival offers and synchronizes nearly 60 art events, which enables visitors to discover today’s significant and lively fine arts spots in one week.

The tour starts at Herzen street in Újlipótváros, one of the city’s cosiest neighbourhoods and goes along Falk Miksa street, populated with several galleries. In the TOBE Gallery László Mészáros’s works, in Missionart Katalin Gaál’s graphics, in Makláry Fine Art contemporary Korean art and in Parthenon Fríz Tamás Somogyi’s statues will be presented to the enthusiastic tour participants. At the end of the day Gábor Erdélyi’s unwordly aesthetic paintings will be presented during a guided exhibition tour at Horizont Gallery.
